Mango Mastani

This is inspired by a juice parlor in my hometown Nanded!! I don’t think this is as good as that Mango Mastani!! But, this perfect combination of Dry fruits, Smooth Mango Milkshake and Cream, will impress your family without any doubt..!!

Complexity:  Very Easy



 

Ingredients:

  • Mangoes[  i used alphonso mangoes] – 4 or 3 cup chopped mangos
  • Full cream chilled milk – 3/4 cup
  • Fresh creme – 1/4 cup
  • Sugar as required
  • Chopped pistachios ,cashew, almonds
  • Raisins – 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla ice cream or mango ice cream – 6 scoops
  • A pinch of nutmeg powder (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Cherries for decoration [ optional ]
  • Whipping cream spray [optional]

Steps:

  1. Chopped all dry fruits like pistachios, almonds and cashews. add all chopped dry fruits in microwave safe bowl, then add 1/2 tsp ghee and put in microwave for 1 to 2 min, keep tossing after 30 sec
  2.  
  3. Keep them aside
  4. Peel, chop mangoes and add them to the blender
  5. Add sugar, full cream milk, creme, 2 spoon ice creme, a pinch of nutmeg powder, a pinch of salt
  6. Blend to a smooth thick milkshake. taste and if the sugar is less, then you can add more.
  7. Keep this milkshake in refrigerator for at least 1 hr for chilling , if milk shake is chilled then it will taste better
  8. Pour this thick mango milkshake in serving glasses till you have enough space at top for ice cream scoops and whipping creme
  9. Top up with one vanilla or mango ice cream scoop
  10. Then add whipping cream spray on the top
  11. Garnish with cherries and roasted dry fruits,
  12. Your mango mastani is ready. Serve chilled with long spoon!..
