Open Vegetable Omelet

Eggs are probably the food invention of centuries:-) It’s undoubtedly the savior for men around the world!!!           This version of omelet, I found in a Japanese restaurant in Vietnam! It is not only attractive in looks, it’s deliciously tasty as well:-)



Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Complexity: Very Easy


Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 4
  • Bell pepper,Capsicum [ red,Green, yellow] chopped – 2/3 cup
  • Onion, chopped – 1 small
  • Tomato chopped [ remove seed n chopped ] – 1 small
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper
  • Milk – 2 tsp

Steps: 

  1. Over medium high heat, coat bottom of the pan with 1 tsp oil,
  2. Quickly toss the veggies, Remove the veggies in plate[ except tomato], keep aside
  3. Crack eggs in a small bowl. Beat eggs, add salt, pepper and milk
  4. Put 1 tsp oil in the pan, pour egg mixture into pan, swirl around and coat pan.
  5. Then after 1 min add toss veggies
  6.  add pepper cook on low flame for 5 min
  7. Remove from pan serve with bread and butter
